Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac and peripheral vascular fields. They assist physicians by operating equipment, monitoring patient hemodynamics, and maintaining sterile and procedural protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-technology cardiovascular equipment, including Siemens systems.
• Prepare and set up procedural areas, ensuring sterile technique and equipment readiness.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics, recognize arrhythmias, and assist during emergent situations.
• Scrub in during procedures such as stent placements, catheterizations, angioplasty, embolizations, and vascular studies.
• Document procedures accurately and perform post-procedure equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Support the team by managing supplies, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and participating in ongoing education.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology or similar program.
• 1.5–2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology or cath lab procedures.
• ARRT certification with a valid RT license; WV Medical Imaging License required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and equipment operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on call, including holidays and weekends.
