Job Summary:
Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a smooth workflow during surgeries. Provide support to surgical teams in a fast-paced, critical access hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary supplies and instruments are sterilized and arranged.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist in cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments post-operation.
• Support documentation and inventory management of surgical supplies.
• Respond promptly to call requirements and assist with patient care during surgeries and on-call periods.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a similar role, preferably two years of OR experience.
• Certification as a Surgical Tech is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible with schedules and on-call responsibilities.
