Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical/Tele Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med Surg Tele unit, utilizing clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct nursing care to patients across all age and developmental stages in the assigned unit.
• Manage patient care plans, ensuring they are individualized and updated regularly.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of ancillary staff to maintain optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physiological and psychological needs.
• Demonstrate leadership by fulfilling charge nurse responsibilities and supporting team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, state regulations, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CA certifications, all in hand at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
• Exhibit strong charting skills and knowledge of charting requirements.
• Be able to pass background checks and provide 7-year work history verification.
