Job Summary:
A Multi modality Tech I specializing in CT provides diagnostic patient care and performs imaging procedures across multiple radiology modalities. This role involves independently operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining departmental standards to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment across multiple modalities independently to complete diagnostic examinations.
• Follow hospital and department protocols for patient identification, safety, and radiation safety standards such as ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely.
• Ensure all imaging procedures meet quality standards and accurately document database and log records.
• Perform equipment quality control and report malfunctions promptly to maintain optimal departmental operations.
• Educate and supervise students and new staff after one year of experience, demonstrating clinical expertise.
• Maintain licensure, continuing education, and compliance with regulatory agencies such as DNV and The Joint Commission.

Qualifications:

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED; completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a radiology modality with successful orientation to a second modality preferred.
• Certified by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality; valid state of Ohio license required.
• Demonstrate effective communication, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of imaging protocols.
• Proficient in the use of PACS, EMR, RIS, and modality-specific equipment.
• BCLS certification required.
