Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients in a dynamic Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver comprehensive, holistic care aligned with patients' unique physiological, emotional, and developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care across medical-surgical services, including outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric cases.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and execute treatments using the Nursing Process to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, including the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor, to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status accurately, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
• Maintain compliance with certification requirements, including BLS and ACLS, and ensure all credentials are up to date before start date.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Vermont RN license or multi-state license.
• Possess at least 3 years of acute care experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, clinical judgment, and documentation.
• Prefer candidates with Meditech experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
