Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) Surgery provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures during the intraoperative phase. They collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition and prepare them for surgery in the sterile environment.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist surgical staff during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Document all surgical interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Support anesthesia providers and manage sterile supplies and instruments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and surgical team members.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Have at least 3 years of operating room or perioperative nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Show ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical environment.
