Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Mother Baby / Postpartum RN to provide specialized care in a hospital setting. The RN will support postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients, with floating opportunities to labor and delivery, ensuring comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer postpartum and newborn care, monitoring patient recovery and neonatal assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize active fetal monitoring skills to assess and respond to fetal status during labor and antepartum care.
• Float to labor and delivery units as needed to support patient needs, excluding triage and circulating duties.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, documentation standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of three years of recent LDRP RN acute care experience.
• Current and strong antepartum and EFM competency is required; antepartum/postpartum cross-training expected.
• Hold a valid MD/Compact license in VA or state of practice; active fetal monitoring certification (C-EFM) required at submission.
• BLS certification required; travel experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate ability to work rotating holidays and weekends; block scheduling not available.
