Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients with blood cancers in a high-acuity oncology unit. This travel RN role involves managing complex hematology cases, administering treatments, and supporting patient recovery in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications following established protocols.
• Evaluate patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes.
• Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and safety protocols.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies, including handling hazardous drugs and excreta.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Possess BLS certification and at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience in oncology.
• Demonstrate experience with complex hematology patient management.
• Be compassionate, adaptable, and capable of quick learning.
• Possess chemo and biotherapy certification (preferred).
• Show proficiency in EMR documentation and patient assessment.
