Job Summary:
Providing specialized surgical support, this role involves assisting with a variety of surgical procedures and ensuring compliance with clinical standards. The candidate will collaborate with medical teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are prepared and sterile.
• Monitor patient conditions intraoperatively and respond promptly to any changes or urgencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and clinical records in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards throughout all surgical activities.
• Support post-operative care activities and communicate relevant information to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold active NBSTSA (or NCCT) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical settings, including general, OB-GYN, podiatry, OB (C-section), and GI procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR within the past 12 months and pass the Epic competency exam on first attempt.
• Maintain current active license (compact or TN) at the time of application.
• Provide two supervisory references and disclose all required background information during submission.
