Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Long Term Care CNA to provide quality care within a critical access facility. The role involves night shift work, ensuring patient needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Perform direct patient care duties in accordance with facility protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical procedures.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures throughout shifts.
- Float within scope to different units as needed to meet facility demands.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience in SNF, LTC, LTAC, or home health settings.
- Valid CNA license; application proof required if license is pending.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to work 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts.
- Strong understanding of common diagnoses such as CVA, Dementia, RA, Afib, Hip fractures, Parkinson's, COPD, PNA.
- Experience with using Hoyer lift, SARA lift, tube feeding pumps, and IV pumps preferred.
