Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with functional disorders or wound care needs, focusing on rehabilitation and improving mobility. Evaluates patient conditions, develops individualized treatment plans, and ensures regulatory compliance in documentation and clinical practices.

Responsibilities:

• Screen, evaluate, and develop customized treatment plans for patients with physical functioning disorders or wounds.
• Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation, and use of supportive devices as part of rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, communicate patient progress, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of physical therapy experience; new graduates with Level II experience are eligible.
• Hold a valid Missouri state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrate proficiency in rehabilitative procedures and clinical documentation.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehab settings preferred.
• Comply with APTA standards, state practice acts, and ethical guidelines.
