Job Summary:


Provide specialized pre-operative and post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal recovery through comprehensive nursing interventions.


Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition before and after surgical procedures to identify needs and potential risks.
  
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergent situations promptly.
  
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
  
• Ensure adherence to infection control standards and facility protocols.
  
• Educate patients and their families about pre- and post-operative procedures and care.
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a current California RN license with active certification.
  
• Obtain and maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
• Have recent TB clearance completed within the last 12 months.
  
• Possess excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to work under pressure.
  
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities.
