Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Ensures patient safety and comfort while collaborating with the surgical team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Scrubs in to assist with surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained.
• Circulates during surgeries to manage equipment, supplies, and patient needs.
• Works in the recovery room to monitor patient recovery and provide necessary interventions.
• Communicates effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to safety protocols throughout perioperative care.
• Supports hospital mission, vision, and values by delivering patient-family centered care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Proven experience in perioperative or operating room nursing.
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
• Ability to scrub, circulate, and work efficiently in the recovery room.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical protocols.
