Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal, neonatal, superficial, and vascular imaging in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of abdominal, gynecologic, obstetric, neonatal, superficial, and vascular structures.
• Execute invasive procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative scans.
• Accurately document findings and update patient records using Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and assist in patient management.
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Float to various units as needed and provide exceptional patient care and support.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Hold ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB, and RVT specialties.
• Maintain current BLS certification from AHA.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Canon i700 ultrasound equipment and PACS systems.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Be capable of working a 40-hour schedule with on-call responsibilities.
