Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment across a 45-bed facility. Utilize virtual nurse assistance hospital-wide to support patient needs and streamline clinical workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians' orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and virtual nurses to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Proven experience in a medical-surgical unit, preferably with adult patient populations.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6.
• Familiarity with virtual nursing technology and hospital electronic health records.
