Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized therapy services to adult patients in an inpatient hospital setting. The candidate will evaluate, develop, and implement care plans focused on speech, language, cognition, and swallowing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions to determine treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to inpatient adult patients.
• Provide therapy sessions focused on improving speech, language, cognitive abilities, and swallowing function.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure treatment goals are met.
• Document treatment progress and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with facility policies.
• Complete required modules during orientation, recording hours accurately on facility reports.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Possess at least 2 years of inpatient adult speech and swallow therapy experience.
• Preferably certified in Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS).
• Demonstrate experience in acute care and inpatient hospital settings.
• Ability to evaluate and develop effective treatment plans for adult patients with speech and swallowing disorders.
