Job Summary:

The Credential Coordinator is responsible for managing credentialing processes, ensuring provider documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This role supports clinical operations by verifying certifications and maintaining compliant records.

Responsibilities:

• Verify provider credentials by collecting and reviewing necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of provider certifications, licenses, and other credentials.
• Communicate with providers to obtain required information such as RTO, birthdate, and social security number.
• Ensure timely renewal of credentials and compliance with organizational policies.
• Support background checks and facilitate credentialing audits as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of credentialing or credential coordinator experience.
• Hold CPCS or CPMSM certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with providers and internal teams.
• Demonstrate knowledge of credentialing standards and HIPAA compliance.
