Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to support both outpatient clinics and hospital settings. This role involves performing vascular imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Document findings accurately and communicate results to physicians promptly.
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including vaccine and fingerprinting requirements.
- Collaborate with medical staff and coordinate patient care activities.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures and ensure proper certification and licensing.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Certificate of Completion from a two-year Allied Health program, associate degree, or bachelor's degree.
- Possess current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- Be credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in relevant specialties such as Vascular, Abdomen, or OBGYN.
- Have at least 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience.
- Be registered as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) if applicable.
- Be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a valid MN license.
