Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for shifts spanning Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday. The role requires proficiency in EPIC charting, prior relevant experience, and flexibility to float within scope as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for patient assessments.
• Follow all safety protocols and patient positioning procedures during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and workflow.
• Complete required modules during orientation and adhere to facility policies and standards.
• Float within scope to other departments or units when necessary to support staffing needs.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
• Hold an active VA or compact state license at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• BSN degree preferred; additional certifications in MRI preferred.
• Capable of passing background screenings and fingerprinting requirements.
• Ready to comply with facility policies, including return staff policy and Virginia-specific regulations.
