Job Summary:
Provide specialized physical therapy services to acute care patients, focusing on rehabilitation, mobility, and functional recovery. Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions aligned with patient needs in a teaching hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patient mobility.
• Collaborate with medical teams to modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Document patient progress and therapy outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Manage complex cases including ventilated patients and those with moderate to maximal impairments.
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and assist with additional evaluations as required.

Qualifications:

• Current Arizona state license in physical therapy.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience.
• Strong diagnostic assessment and treatment skills in an acute hospital setting.
• Ability to work confidently with a generalist approach, managing diverse patient populations.
• Must hold an AZ Fingerprint Card; candidates must have this in hand before starting.
