Job Summary:
The X-ray/Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with high technical proficiency, ensuring accurate anatomical positioning and patient safety. This role requires independent judgment in a fast-paced, acute care environment, including fluoroscopy and operating room procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic images for adult and pediatric patients.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and support intraoperative imaging in OR settings.
• Collaborate with medical staff across departments to meet diagnostic and procedural needs, including inpatient, outpatient, ER, and orthopedic coverage.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, including radiation badges and infection control protocols.
• Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patient comfort and clarity of imaging requirements.
• Complete required documentation efficiently in electronic health record systems, such as Epic.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) certification or equivalent, with valid South Carolina RN license or eligibility confirmation.
• Possess at least 1 year of radiology imaging experience, including fluoroscopy and OR procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with radiologic equipment and patient positioning.
• Maintain current BLS and CPR certifications.
• Be able to provide radiation badges, supplied by the agency.
• Have experience working in acute care environments, including trauma hospitals.
