Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse for a short-term contract focused on an EPIC conversion project. The ideal candidate will have recent Epic and Cerner experience, along with strong telemetry skills, to support a busy hospital environment during system transition.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in a telemetry unit following established protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient data within Epic and Cerner systems
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to cardiac emergencies promptly
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Participate in onboarding and training sessions related to Epic system implementation

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in California
• Possess at least 6 months of recent Epic experience within the last 12 months
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cerner and Epic electronic medical records systems
• Have minimum one year of current telemetry nursing experience
• Be able to start by 8/24/26, with orientation sessions scheduled on 8/3 or 8/17
• Maintain ACLS, NIH, and BLS certifications as required
