Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Medical Technologist specializing in Blood Bank to perform laboratory testing and support blood bank operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely test results in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized blood bank tests according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory activities.
• Adhere to quality control and safety standards in all laboratory procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper specimen handling and processing.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least one (1) year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience in Blood Bank.
• Hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited laboratory tech program.
• Maintain a valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092) issued by NYSED with Primary Source Verification.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Display effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
