Job Summary:

Perform high-quality MRI diagnostic imaging procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established policies and protocols. The role involves operating advanced imaging equipment to produce accurate images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality and image quality.
• Position patients correctly, select appropriate coils and machine settings, and conduct imaging procedures as ordered.
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns to promote patient confidence and comfort.
• Document all procedures, maintain logs and records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, safety checks, and quality assurance procedures.
• Assist in ancillary radiology functions and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
• Pediatric and geriatric imaging experience preferred.
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification required.
• Proven ability to operate Siemens, Philips, and other MRI systems.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent patient communication skills and attention to detail.
