Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced LVN/LPN for a 13-week Medical Surgical assignment working night shifts. The role requires acute care skills, EPIC charting experience, and flexibility to float within the unit.

Responsibilities:

• Administer blood products, IV therapy, and manage central and peripheral lines with support from RNs.
• Provide wound care, monitor telemetry, and manage patients with complex needs including trach and feeding tubes.
• Collaborate with rapid response teams, adhere to isolation precautions, and support patient safety protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and comply with all charting and documentation standards.
• Float within skillset to various units as needed, maintaining high standards of clinical care.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State LPN license; NY is not a Compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience within the past 2 years.
• Demonstrated ability to manage blood products, IV lines, and use telemetry.
• Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently with oversight.
