Job Summary:
The MRI Tech will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures to support diagnostic needs, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role requires expertise in MRI protocols and excellent patient care skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.
• Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images as per physician orders.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of imaging equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage patient records in the EMR system.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, responding promptly to any issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient imaging services.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid registration and licensure as an MRI Technologist.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of MRI imaging experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols.
• Preferably have breast MRI experience.
• Maintain current certifications in ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent.
