Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in IMC/PCU/Stepdown provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring intermediate to high acuity monitoring and treatment. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document clinical findings and interventions thoroughly in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute hospital experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and patient assessment.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
