Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based treatment in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient vital signs in accordance with physician orders.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid PA license or Compact license required at submission.
• Possess at least 1 year of ICU experience, with exceptions based on unit requirements.
• Hold AHA-compliant certifications; specific certifications depend on the unit.
• Be able to work rotating shifts including day and night 12-hour shifts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in charting systems such as Cerner preferred.
