Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience, proficiency in performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently, and be licensed in Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech and swallow evaluations, including Modified Barium Swallow Studies in radiology.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient settings.
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech and paper methods, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate referrals for outpatient services when appropriate.
• Float between units and facilities as needed, maintaining flexibility in scheduling.
• Adhere to dress code and institutional policies, including scrubs and P&P protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid Hawaii licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in SNF or rehabilitation hospital settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently.
• Be certified in BLS and maintain active licensure and registration in Hawaii.
• Have experience with EMR documentation, particularly Meditech, and clinical procedures in acute care.
• Be adaptable to floating assignments and flexible scheduling.
