Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Med/Surg unit with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and recovery. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, including titratable drips, and monitor patient responses.
• Assess patient conditions, document findings, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
• Manage and operate RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and vents, ensuring proper patient support.
• Float to assist other units as needed, maintaining flexibility to support staffing needs.
• Follow unit-specific protocols, participate in orientation, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Current state RN license and unrestricted driver's license with unexpired proof of both.
• BLS certification required; NIHSS certification required for RNs and LPNS; ACLS and PALS recommended.
• Strong Med/Surg background with experience managing diverse patient conditions including CP, CHF, pneumonia, post-op, pediatric, and medical-surgical diagnoses.
• Ability to read monitors (e.g., ICU/telemetry monitors) independently, with familiarity of monitor brands preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
