Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in ambulatory, outpatient, or clinic settings, focusing on endocrinology and infectious disease conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient outcomes while adhering to facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans for endocrine and infectious disease conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed following clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document patient interactions and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain compliance with certification, licensing, and facility regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience in endocrinology or infectious diseases.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably EPIC.
• Strong knowledge of diabetes, thyroid, HIV, and infection management.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, day shifts, with flexibility for employment demands.
• BLS certification required; trauma experience preferred.
