Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive laboratory testing and analysis in multiple specialties to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology analyses.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret and validate test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability for clinical decision-making.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards governing laboratory operations.
• Document and report findings accurately in laboratory information systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic information.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of current experience as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Hold a valid New York State (NYS) license in Medical Technology.
• Demonstrate proficiency across multiple laboratory disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Exhibit effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certification by ASCP or equivalent credential is preferred.
