Job Description
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse specializes in infection prevention and employee health, providing expert clinical support in an occupational health setting. This part-time position is ideal for experienced nurses committed to maintaining workplace safety and health standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement infection control policies and practices to prevent disease transmission.
- Conduct employee health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness assessments.
- Provide education on health and safety protocols to staff and management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of immunizations, health records, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure health standards are met and updated.
- Respond to health emergencies and support outbreak management protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – preferred.
- Have at least two years of experience in an acute care environment – preferred.
- Maintain current CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
- Preferably hold Infection Control Certification and Public Health Nursing Credential.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of infection prevention, employee health policies, and OSHA standards.
