Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse specializes in infection prevention and employee health, providing expert clinical support in an occupational health setting. This part-time position is ideal for experienced nurses committed to maintaining workplace safety and health standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement infection control policies and practices to prevent disease transmission.
• Conduct employee health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness assessments.
• Provide education on health and safety protocols to staff and management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of immunizations, health records, and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure health standards are met and updated.
• Respond to health emergencies and support outbreak management protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – preferred.
• Have at least two years of experience in an acute care environment – preferred.
• Maintain current CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Preferably hold Infection Control Certification and Public Health Nursing Credential.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of infection prevention, employee health policies, and OSHA standards.
