Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) technologist to support various specialized cardiac and vascular procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise and adaptability to a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide proficient technical support during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including the setup and troubleshooting of CVOR equipment.
• Assist surgical teams in preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining specialized scopes and instruments used in cardiac, vascular, and robotic procedures.
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout all phases of surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth and efficient operative workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment maintenance, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 1 year of CVOR or operating room experience, with first-time traveler acceptance.
• Possess current licensure in Georgia or a Compact state.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling various scopes including colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, ERCP scopes, and fiber optics.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of sterile techniques, equipment maintenance, and surgical protocols.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend and major holidays.
