Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse for travel assignment in a behavioral health unit. This role involves providing specialized mental health care to adult patients in a dynamic inpatient setting, supporting patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' mental health status, ensuring safety and appropriate care.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and documentation in accordance with unit protocols.
• Administer treatments and interventions, including medication administration and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records utilizing Meditech EMR and adhere to policy guidelines.
• Support float coverage across inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid certification.
• BLS and CPI certifications required.
• Minimum of 1-year current behavioral health inpatient experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a flexible, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to handle patient acuity levels with compassion and professionalism.
• Experience with Welsh Allen VS Machines preferred.
