Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. They ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and maintain high standards of image quality.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and ensure removal of hazardous metal objects.
• Monitor patients and staff entering the MRI room to prevent hazards related to metal and electronic devices.
• Perform quality control checks on MRI images and equipment to ensure accurate diagnostics.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the MRI suite according to safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with patient scheduling and coordinate with staff to optimize workflow and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
• Have at least 2 years of clinical MRI imaging experience.
• Possess strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent patient communication and technical skills.
• Maintain current licensure and compliance with Federal, State, and DNV standards.
