Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit, with the flexibility to float to other units as needed. Requires strong orthopedic experience and proficiency in Epic EMR to ensure efficient patient management and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside patient care and monitor clinical conditions accurately.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress within Epic EMR system.
• Float to assigned units or campuses as operational demands dictate, maintaining competency standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform EKG exams and respond promptly to cardiac or other clinical emergencies.
• Follow hospital protocols for safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic nursing procedures and patient care.
• Proven proficiency in Epic EMR with at least 1 year of charting experience.
• ACLS certification required; ability to complete EKG exam during onboarding.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and adapt to floating requirements.
