Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist for a travel assignment at a Level 1 trauma center. The candidate will perform laboratory testing and specimen processing during overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with accuracy and professionalism.
• Process and accession specimens utilizing Meditech EMR system.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment including Mobilab systems.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to unit policies and safety standards.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to maintain workflow and efficient patient care.
• Document procedures and results accurately for clinical and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Med Tech license or certification with at least 2 years of hospital acute care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in specimen processing and laboratory procedures.
• Possess solid knowledge of Meditech and Mobilab equipment.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Be able to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• BLS certification required.
