Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to ER patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure patient safety, manage emergent situations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival, providing immediate emergency care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed and required.
• Monitor patient status continuously, updating physicians and team members.
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
• Assist in all ER procedures and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license and active unrestricted license in applicable state.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in emergency room nursing.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be current at submission).
• Epic EMR experience at a level 3 or 4.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours), including weekends as required.
• NIHSS certification obtained prior to start date.
