Job Summary:


Responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. Manages equipment calibration, quality control, and radiopharmaceutical administration while adhering to regulatory guidelines and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment utilizing appropriate techniques to produce accurate diagnostic images.
  
• Conduct daily quality control calibration checks on all imaging devices to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including logs, manuals, charge records, and reports of equipment issues to comply with regulatory standards.
  
• Perform quality assurance and safety testing, following radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
  
• Prepare, retrieve, and archive patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Hold New York State licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) certification.
  
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, with current credentials.
  
• BLS certification required.
  
• Minimum of one year of CT imaging experience.
  
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
