Job Summary:

Provide high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, and implementing treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive mental health support in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer psychiatric nursing interventions to patients with mental health conditions.
• Conduct patient assessments, including mental status examinations and monitoring vital signs.
• Develop and update individualized care plans in coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing (PMH-BC) is a plus.
