Job Summary:

Seek an experienced IR/Special Procedures RN to provide skilled patient care during complex interventional radiology procedures. The provider will support a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for IR/Special Procedures.
• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, maintaining sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Document procedure details, patient responses, and post-procedure care accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, certifications, and hospital policies.
• Facilitate patient education and post-procedure instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio RN license at the time of submission; compact licenses accepted for starts after 1/1/23.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in IR/Special Procedures.
• Demonstrate active certifications with no pending credentials.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores during orientation.
• Provide at least one supervisor or managerial reference in the relevant specialty.
• Pass all required drug screens and background checks within specified timeframes.
