Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care in a busy hospital unit. This temporary role offers an opportunity to work with a skilled team in a dynamic maternity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and their newborns immediately after delivery.
• Circulate and recover C-section patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate shared decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in CPN and Meditach systems, adhering to hospital policies.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM.
• Float to other units as needed, supporting hospital staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing laboring patients, newborn care, and C-section recovery.
• Experienced in performing procedures such as vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, cerclages, and epidurals.
• Comfortable working a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including weekend and call shifts.
• Able to implement hospital policies and maintain safety standards.
