Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures for a travel assignment. The role involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient care during cardiovascular surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams by preparing and sterilizing instruments and supplies for CVOR procedures
• Pass instruments and supplies efficiently during surgeries, adhering to sterile techniques
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth operation flow
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and supplies used
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols in the OR
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in cardiovascular surgical settings
• Possess strong knowledge of CVOR procedures and instrumentation
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a travel assignment lasting 13 weeks
• Be flexible with schedule shifts and adapt to diverse OR environments
