Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and management of respiratory conditions. This role requires collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient respiratory status using clinical assessment and diagnostic tools.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Respond to emergency situations, providing critical respiratory support.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in operating EPIC EMR and respiratory equipment.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be within 100 miles of the facility or meet distance exceptions.
