Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized radiation therapy treatments to patients following prescribed protocols. Collaborate with a team to ensure safe and effective delivery of radiation oncology care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders.
• Coordinate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed while ensuring patient comfort.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments and patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new or less experienced radiation therapy staff.
• Ensure equipment safety checks and proper machine operation before delivering treatments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Radiation Therapy certification and ARRT credentials.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton, and/or CT/SIMS is preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating radiation therapy machines and associated technology.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to report to multiple locations, including PCAM, PAH, and PPMC.
