Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries, including open-heart and vascular procedures in a high-volume hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through expert nursing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during open heart and vascular procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and procedural protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses throughout perioperative stages, escalating issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient care, and clinical observations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrate 2+ years of operating room experience, with emphasis on cardiovascular surgery.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experienced in managing open-heart and vascular surgery patients.
• Preferably have RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) certification.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
