Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in behavioral health settings, supporting recovery and promoting patient well-being through compassionate, individualized care plans. They serve as clinical leaders, ensuring safety, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' needs and develop, implement, and continually reevaluate personalized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment.
• Educate patients' families and significant others on discharge planning and ongoing care requirements.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff in individual and group settings.
• Document, report, and verify patient information according to policy and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to staff, fostering professional development and adherence to care protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state nursing license.
• Demonstrate a minimum of two years of behavioral health experience.
• Possess pediatric care experience.
• Provide BLS certification.
• Show proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and documentation.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
