Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides urgent care and critical patient management in a high-volume hospital emergency department. The role requires delivering immediate, high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations under stressful conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly upon arrival and determine urgency levels.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately to support rapid intervention.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with certifications, licenses, and facility policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent full-time ER experience prior to travel.
• Hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at submission.
• Active American Red Cross ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Have Epic EMR system experience.
• Provide two recent references from managers or supervisors within the past 12 months.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
