Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive patient care to surgical and stroke patients in a Medical Surgical unit during night shifts. Ensure safe, efficient, and quality care while collaborating with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient treatments and monitor vital signs, including telemetry for cardiac patients.
• Assess patient conditions, document findings, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergencies and urgent issues.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Float within related units as needed, adhering to scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical units.
• Be BLS and NIHSS certified.
• Demonstrate ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours).
• Ability to float to similar units and adapt to acute patient needs.
